ALF Blessing Box

A Blessing Box “Take what you need, leave what you can” has arrived on the ALF Campus! We’re very proud that Mr. Shade Gladen chose to invest his Eagle Scout Project to the community with us, It will make a beautiful and meaningful addition to our campus and the ministry to those in need.
These are the items most commonly donated and used to stock the Blessing Box:

all items should be new and unopened

Food Items (Canned food with ring-pulls):
granola bars, breakfast cereal (individual boxes/cups), instant oatmeal (cups/packets), dry soup (packets/cups), ramen, mac & cheese (cups/boxes), peanut butter & cracker packs, cheese & cracker packs, instant coffee singles, hot cocoa packets, kool-aid mixes, pasta, dry pasta sauce mixes, crackers, rice, dried beans, boxed/bagged rice/noodle/potato dishes, seasoning packets, dry milk, pudding/jello cups, jelly, canned fruit/vegetables, canned pasta sauce, peanut butter*, bottle water

Personal Items (Sample Size):
bar soap, deodorant, wet wipes, razors, shaving cream, laundry soap powder (small boxes), toothpaste, toothbrushes, tissues, toilet paper, feminine sanitary products, shampoo, lotion, dish soap, socks, baby wipes
You’re invited to visit the campus and help us stock this wonderful addition!

Items to include in typical Care Kit consists of a watertight gallon-size zipper-lock plastic bag filled with items like:

A bottle of water
Socks
Tuna and crackers
Granola Bar or cereal bar
Fruit snack or applesauce cup
Crackers with peanut butter or cheese
A gift certificate to fast food
Hand wipes
Pack of Kleenex
Maxi pads
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Nail clippers
Band-Aids
Chapstick
Comb or small brush
Mints, cough drops or gum
